The Story

I’m Heidi’s husband. My wife works as a professional influencer and I help out where I can.

I came up with the idea of her starting a fashion blog a few years ago. It went really well. She ended up working with lots of major UK brands. It went from free clothes to press days to paid campaigns.

Heidi was eventually making enough money from blogging that she quit her finance job just as her maternity leave came to an end. We’ve since had another – two toddlers!

My wife moved with the times and now generates income from multiple blogs – a fashion one, a parenting one and a food one, as well as her Instagram account. This was all part of the dream – the plan to keep levelling up with our lives together.

She started her blog because she wanted some freebies and a bit of extra cash.

What she actually got was:

  • A constant stream of freebies
  • More an income that eclipsed her old full-time role
  • Many free meals out
  • Press trips around the country
  • The chance to quit her job
  • Freedom to work at her own pace on whatever she wants
  • TV appearances
  • Awards for blogging and influencing

And this is without management, specialist courses and she still hasn’t even got 50,000 followers on Instagram.

 

About Us

Me and my wife are on a mission to live the life we know that we deserve. We’re in our early 30s and we know that now is the time to capitalise on this world of online content creation.

Hard work and focus is going to get us there, so this is our space to talk about what we envisage for our future. We really don’t like looking at what others

Our two boys are our motivation to give them the dream life that we know we’re capable of.

This is a behind-the-scenes of how we’re going to get to the point where we’re free, we have full control of our lives and we give our children the most incredible life we can.

My wife earns from:

  • 3 blogs (fashion, parenting/lifestyle, food)
  • Instagram account (not quite 50k followers)
  • Co-hosting a podcast
  • Freelance social media consultancy
